A simple yet comforting meal perfect for a rainy day, when kids are sick, or just for a lazy cook. This recipe features a quick tomato bisque using a pantry hack and a flavorful grilled cheese sandwich.

For the tomato bisque: Heat up a jar of Rao's NYC tomato bisque/sauce. Add 1 cup of your favorite plant-based milk and a pinch of garlic powder. Simmer and stir until heated through. For the grilled cheese: Butter one side of each slice of sprouted grain Ezekiel bread with Kerrygold butter. Assemble the sandwich with Violife American cheese, a schmear of vegan mayo, and Hawthorne Valley turmeric kraut between the slices. Grill the sandwich until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve the grilled cheese sandwich with a side of greens and the warm tomato bisque.
