For the Rice: Cook rice as directed but also add the 1-inch ginger knob, 2 cloves garlic, and 1 small onion to the pot while cooking. Once cooked, remove the ginger knob and mix well. Pulse the basil and mint leaves in a food processor and add to the rice off heat. Mix in the olive oil, lemon or lime juice, and sea salt and stir until well combined. For the Veg Stir-Fry: Heat a large pan and add the avocado oil, 1-2 cloves garlic, and 1 tsp chopped ginger. When fragrant, add the sliced zucchini, haricot verts, broccolini, and green cabbage, then add the tamari and sauté until cooked, adding water if needed to cook down the vegetables. Off heat, season with a little rice vinegar and toasted sesame oil. Serve the stir-fry with the basil fried rice and optional chili crisp.
