Crème d’Asperges (cause asparagus soup doesn’t sound as chic)

What you need
anise

pepper

salt

vegetable broth

avocado oil

garlic

white onion

asparagus
Instructions
Heat large pot with oil. Add onion and garlic, season with salt and pepper, sauté until caramelized. Add asparagus, star anise if using, broth, bring to a boil and simmer covered for about 10 min. Cool and transfer in batches to blender to puree (be careful not to purée hot soup). Transfer back to pot to warm. Season more as needed.
