My favorite snack I would make myself as a kid was cheezy rice. American single slice cheese microwaved over a bowl of sticky Korean white rice that my mom always had ready in the rice cooker on the kitchen counter. And it was heaven. Hereβs my updated version that I gave Sea the other day and she was hooked π

What you need

dairy free butter
cup short grain rice

cup vegan cheese
Instructions
Rinse rice well until water runs clear. Add to rice cooker with 1 cup water. Cook until done. While hot, add butter and cheese into rice cooker and cover until completely melted. Stir well and season as needed. Enjoy! (Ps itβs amaaaazing in nori sheets and a little sliced cucumber and vegan kimchi π)View original recipe
