What you need

basil

extra-virgin olive oil

pepper

salt

bay leaves

marinara sauce

low sodium beef broth
potato
kale

zucchini

tomato

carrot

celery

yellow onion
Instructions
Heat large pot. Add oil, sauté onion, celery, carrots and bay leave until fragrant. Add water and remaining vegetables. Bring to a boil then simmer. Season as needed, stir in marinara. Cover and simmer for another 20-30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Season again as needed. Ladle soup into bowls. Spoon and stir in cooked pastina.
